CBO Designed & Manufactured 5G COW’s
with Will-Burt SHDL Telescopic Mast.
Will-Burt’s Super Heavy-Duty Locking (SHDL) 9-50 pneumatic telescopic mast was specified to support a combined 4G/5G Cell on Wheels (COW) for use by Telstra, an Australian telecommunications network company, at key events and potential emergency services. The mast is integrated onto a CBO designed tilting system to allow for payload assembly at ground level, negating the need for any work from a ladder or platform. Apart from the Will-Burt SHDL, the trailer also features an air-conditioned, vibration dampened equipment cabinet, separate compartments for a lithium battery bank and equipment stowage. The unique barn doors protect the mast and external radio equipment during transport while also offering an aerodynamic shape to minimize the drag when towed at highway speeds.
